Job Description:
Well-established, well-respected Specialty Equipment Manufacturer seeks Final Assembly/Test Department Manager for main facility.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Final Assembly/ Test Department Manager will supervise the technicians and the final assembly personnel to ensure that equipment released for customer shipment meets the test specifications set forth by Engineering. He will also be responsible for scheduling work so that all equipment is fully tested and shipped on schedule. In addition, the FA/ Test Department Manager will maintain job order integrity in the Made2Manage (M2M) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and maintain department records in accordance with ISO requirements.
Requirements include an Associate Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in Electronics Technology, or the equivalent degree from an accredited Technical School. The successful candidate will possess a 5+ years experience as an electronics technician along with 2+ years supervisory experience. A basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and ISO along with the ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings and a knowledge of mechanical systems is also required.
