One of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets is currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer. The global engineering giant provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors.  They are one of a handful of global companies with the capability and track record to execute large capital projects from conception right through to operation.

Responsibilities include: Work as the lead mechanical engineer on a multi-discipline project team to supervise and review license renewal mechanical scoping/screening and aging management reviews of nuclear plant mechanical systems & equipment. Additional responsibilities will include mechanical system and aging management review inputs to the License Renewal Application, and performance of Aging Management Program evaluations. Some project management responsibilities are possible. Investigative attitude and advanced written communication skills will be needed.

Requirements

BSME plus 10-20 years experience in the power industry in either plant operations or consulting engineering environments. EIT/PE registration or SRO desirable. Broad mechanical systems experience should include- NSSS, auxiliary systems, and MUST include prior license renewal project experience. All MS office tools and other database knowledge preferred.
