Job Description:

MECHANICAL ENGINEERS: .Due to expansion, top power generation company located in north-central NJ is looking to fill the following positions:

MANAGER PLANT DESIGN DEPT -  report directly to the Vice President, manage the design department personnel and functions in mechanical and structural design of company’s power plant products.  BS in Engineering; PE license a +.  Minimum of 12 years of PP and related equipment design experience; at least 5 years in supervision or management capacity. Salary $95,000 - $115,000 + 10% bonus.

PROJECT MANAGERS – Ensure that projects are executed per contract and within budget and schedule.  Serve as single point of contact with client and be accountable for client relations. Projects could range in size from $40 million to $500 million. BS in engineering,  10+ years of progressive experience in a technical managerial position. Requires power industry experience with specific knowledge of solid fuel fired Boilers and Air Quality Control Systems.     Salary $100,000 -  $120,000 base + 10% annual bonus.

PROJECT ENGINEERS - Responsible to the Project Manager for the engineering and design of the project.  Coordinates between engineering disciplines, vendors, owner’s AE and constructor on technical issues.   Requires BSME and 10 years of progressive experience in a technical leadership position. Candidate shall have strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.  Power industry experience is preferred with specific knowledge of solid fuel fired Boilers and Air Quality Control Systems.  Salary $100,000 - $120,000 + 5% bonus.

INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS MANAGER – This position requires a working I&C Manager who could provide the technical leadership and management skills to lead the I&C engineering group. Manager must possess in-depth understanding of the design and engineering of PP systems such as Boiler, Air Quality Control System, Turbine and SCR areas in a power plant environment. Candidate must be able to supervise and to support proposals and contract projects in the areas. Must have Engineering degree with 10+ years of progressive PP experience and 5+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.  $125,000 salary + 10% bonus.

INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS ENGINEERS - Provide I & C engineering supports to proposal and contract project operation across Boiler, SCR, AQCS, and Turbine areas. These include generating documents and/or furnishing consultation in engineering calculations and analysis, electrical schematics, I & C equipment specifications, bid evaluation, boiler protection logics, combustion control philosophy, burner management system, interlock and control diagrams, analytical instruments, loop diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Instrument List, etc. Requires BSME, BSEE, 2+ Years I&C design engineering experience for power plant environment. Must have an understanding of Code and Standards related to PP design and installation. $65,000 - $115,000 (doe) + 5% bonus.

PERFORMANCE ENGINEER - Ensure that the performance of the steam generator meets the requirements of the Specifications. Requires BSME + 1 -5 years experience. $55,000 - $70,000 + 5% Bonus

POLLUTION CONTROL ENGINEER.  Must have a BS in either Mechanical or Chemical engineering with 2+ working experience, and would be interested in learning and working in the pollution control industry. $55,000 - $70,000 + 5%

MECHANICAL ENGINEERS - Provide Mechanical Engineering supports to proposal and contract project operation across Boiler, SCR, AQCS, and Turbine areas in a power plant environment. These include generating documents such as equipment specifications, and/or furnishing consultation in mechanical engineering design areas such as mechanical equipment and material selection, fluid mechanic calculations, general arrangement, equipment locations, equipment, valve and pipe sizing, equipment list, valve list, etc. In the case of project mechanical engineer assigned to a project or proposal, leadership and management skill is necessary for handling the task from conceptual proposal stage to project completion.  Various levels needed. Requires  BSME, (PE License a plus) along with 2+ years experience; $65K - $110 (doe) + 5% bonus
