The Site Manager, will report directly to the EPC Project Director, has the authority and the freedom to establish the site specific execution framework to ensure the safety, productivity, quality, cost and schedule of the project as it relates to the construction effort. This individual will be the focal point at the site for the flow of communications and will provide the team effort necessary to manage and lead the project team toward the goal of completion on schedule and within budget. This person will accept the responsibility for the plan, organization, control and execution of the installation of site facilities. The Site Manager will participate in, and continually be aware of the status and effectiveness of key areas during the life of the project. These areas include:
• Developing an overall construction execution plan.
• Developing the Site Project Procedures.
• Actively engaged in the continuous monitoring and evaluating the projects HSE program
• Providing continuity during the transition from the home office engineering and procurement phase to construction, while actively managing and supporting the project constructability program.
• Integrating the project's engineering, construction process (constructability program), procurement, construction schedules, contracts, and services.
• Maintaining effective client relations and ensuring proper and timely liaison with the client on all site related items throughout the life of the project.
• Actively engaged in the continuous monitoring and evaluating of the projects cost and schedule control program.
• Ensuring contract documents are communicated (as required) to the project team.
• Documenting any issues relating to contractual matters.
Requirements:
• Senior Construction Management with Refinery experience preferred • Manged site management staff levels greater than 100 • BS in Construction Management, Construction Technologies, Construction Sciences or Engineering preferred, or equivalent technical project experience
