Summary:

Young and rapidly growing Energy Company seeks motivated risk and insurance analyst for a new group. Reporting directly to the Vice President and Corporate Risk Manager, this high profile role will provide the right individual with the opportunity to develop and implement procedures and processes for the Risk group, as well as define the way in which the Risk Group interacts with the wider business including risk asset management, revenue assurance, finance and accounting, and the Senior Management groups. The role will also be responsible for managing the insurance portfolio within the company.

The successful applicant will have:

·        At least 2 years experience, preferably with commodity trading

·        Power Asset experience desirable but not essential

·        Some knowledge of the Finance field, Mark-to-Market valuations, and Trade Operations

·        A Bachelors degree, masters preferred. The subject matter is less relevant than the ability to analyze and present information.

·        Must have excellent communication skills as he/she will be working with multiple departments and levels of management. The ability to communicate complex quantitative information to a wide audience – understanding the difference between data and information is also essential.

 Salary is $95-$150K plus Bonus. Company will relocate and sponsor.
