Responsibilities include:  Engineering and design and engineering analysis for electrical systems and equipment in fossil power plants, design modification packages, walkdowns and task management to support the projects. Must be able to lead the electrical engineering effort on projects including supervising project electrical personnel.  Applicant must be be a degreed electrical engineer with the ability to read and prepare one/three line diagrams, load lists, schematics and wiring diagrams; perform electrical system calcualtions, prepare specifications; must be familiar with protective relaying concepts.

Requirements

Minimum ten years experience in power plant design, equipment and construction.  PE license preferred.

Applicant must be a resourceful self-starter able to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. Must have good written and oral communications skills a proactive attitude and be open to occasional travel or short-term out-of-town assignments.
