One of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets is currently seeking a Senior Supervising Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Production Unit Leader and/or Lead Discipline Engineer - Transmission Line Engineering. Develops proposal estimates, provides input to scope documents, prepares project task plan, develops production methods, directs production work, provides technical direction and provides feedback to management on work status and performance.  Performs high-level transmission line designs. Performs independent audits on technical work.  Implements corrective action to enhance performance.  Supervises or mentors subordinates and provides input regarding performance.  Interviews candidates.

Requirements:

15+ years experience in transmission line design with emphasis on 345kV and 500kV or higher system designs.  Must be experienced in using PLS CADD design software.  Must have the ability to design complete transmission line systems and structures. The candidate must have supervisory experience and shall be able to develop the transmission engineering group.
 

Other Skills:

PE required. Demonstrated ability to cost and manage TN transmission projects. Significant transmission line design experience and supervisory experience required.
