Position Summary:

One of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets, is currently seeking a Supervising Control Systems Engineer. The Global Engineering Giant provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors.  They are one of a handful of global companies with the capability and track record to execute large capital projects from conception right through to operation.  We are currently seeking a Supervising Control Systems Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for the technical oversight and staffing requirements for systems engineering personnel. Will assist the department in developing standards and engineering process improvements.  Will also help train and develop lower grade engineers. Will execute lead control system engineer responsibilities on projects that include senior level engineering and design analysis for control systems. Must be able to lead the control system engineering effort on multiple projects simultaneously including supervising office control system personnel.

Requirements

BSEE, BSChemE or BSME required.
Minimum of 15 years experience in engineering in generating stations. Computer literate. Senior level engineering and design analysis for process control, distributed control systems and equipment in generating stations. Familiar with control system related procedures associated with the control system equipment used in power plants.

Applicant must be a resourceful self-starter able to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. Must have good written and oral communications skills a proactive attitude and be open to occasional travel or short-term out-of-town assignments. PE License required.
