Job Description:

One of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets currently is seeking a Supervising Electrical Engineer for their Electrical Engineering group in their Chattanooga, TN office. This global engineering giant provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors. They are one of a handful of global companies with the capability and track record to execute large capital projects from conception right through to operation. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the technical oversight and staffing requirements for the Chattanooga Office electrical engineering personnel. Will assist the department in developing standards and engineering process improvements. Will also help train and develop lower grade engineers. Will execute lead electrical engineer responsibilities on projects that include senior level engineering and design analysis for electrical systems. Must be able to lead the electrical engineering effort on multiple projects simultaneously including supervising office electrical personnel.

Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years experience in engineering in fossil generating stations. Computer literate. BSEE required. Senior level engineering and design analysis for electrical systems and equipment in generating stations, switchyards, and substation design modification packages, walkdowns and task management. Applicant must be a resourceful self-starter able to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. Must have good written and oral communications skills a proactive attitude and be open to occasional travel or short-term out-of-town assignments. PE License required.
