Global Marketing Investment Services Training Manager—Top Financial Services Company
The Global Marketing & Investment Services Training Manager is responsible for establishing a comprehensive training and development platform for the group.
Working closely with the Director of International Professional Development and with the guidance of the Management Team, the Training Manager will:
- Determine training needs for each key position within the organizations.
- Design, develop, facilitate and manage training programs.
- Identify best practices within and drive consistent adoption of these best practices.
- Assist management with the creation of development plans for their staff.
Additionally, the Training Manager will monitor the progress and effectiveness of all training initiatives and follow-up as appropriate, as well as manage project and program timelines, budgets and oversee the administrative activities that support the delivery of all training programs.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in training, development and performance management. (prior financial services industry experience a plus, as is an advanced degree).
Other requirements include:
- Applied knowledge of the principles and practices of adult learning theory and instructional design systems.
- Advanced project management skills, including time, task, priority, resource and budget management.
- Strategic and creative thinker
- Ability to gather and analyze information and collaborate in development and delivery of learning solutions.
- Ability to plan, organize, deliver and oversee the administration of training programs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strength in presenting and facilitating.
- High energy, open-minded with a positive outlook
Essential Skills:
- Proven success in overseeing the entire instructional design process: needs assessment, design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Business acumen, preferably as applied in the financial services industry.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Strong execution skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Effective multi-tasking and project management.
- Proven success in meeting deadlines.
- PC literate in Microsoft Office applications.
Salary is $120-$140K plus 25-35% bonus.
